Quick response times are an important component of our customer service. Once the location and call nature is received, the helicopter is dispatched immediately and generally airborne within five to six minutes. Scene flights and inter-facility transports constitute over ninety percent of STAR Flight responses. STAR Flight responds within the following counties: Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Burleson, Caldwell, Comal, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Guadalupe, Hays, Kendal, Lampasas, Lee, Llano, Milam, San Saba, and Williamson counties.  We can respond outside these counties if required.

STAR Flight makes every effort to complete all mission requests. However, aircraft and personnel safety is paramount.  When weather conditions are not suitable for flight, STAR Flight will notify your dispatch in as short a time as possible in order to allow your resources to determine the next best method of transport.
